Miami Township (Clermont County) has ordered 2 engines from Rosenbauer. Don't have details, except they will not be identical.
Prior to Christmas, Engine 27 (1996 Pierce) was heavily damaged while parked at the scene of an MVA on I-275. It was struck in the rear by an out-of-control SUV. The rig has been declared a total loss.
More recently, Medic 27, an International/Braun ambulance was damaged in a collision with a semi while on a mutual aid response. It will be sent to Braun's facility in Van Wert, OH for repairs.

Green Twp. has purchased a Smeal aerial. Don't have any details at this point, don't know if it is a tower or if it has a pump. Delivery expected in late 2014.

Miami Township (Clermont County) has placed an order for a new engine, bringing the total number of engines on order to three. Earlier, an order had been placed with Rosenbauer for two engines. Then, Engine 27 was totaled when struck by an SUV while parked at the scene of an MVA on I-275. The first two of the new engines are scheduled to arrive late this year. All of the engines being replaced are Pierce rigs.
Miami Twp Fire/EMS operates out of 3 stations, so all front-line engines will be new. Don't know what plans are in store for the current Engine 26, a 2001 Spartan-Luverne rescue engine.
The department also operates a 2001 Spartan-Luverne 104 Ft Tower and 4 International/Braun ambulances (3 active + a spare).

In regards to Green Township, my sources told me that it was going to be a straight ladder, unsure if a quint or not. Ladder by Smeal but the rest of the truck being built by Summit Fire Apparatus

Bromley Fire Department has on order a industrial type pumper that will have a 2000 gallon foam tank and pump on a commerical chassis. This unit is being paid for by BP and will be stored at BP terminal in Bromley. BP works closely with Bromley and has been instrumental in providing funding and technical assistance with the vehicle. The vehicle is being built by Summit and will be available for mutual aid responses.
