I saw that Hebron has updated there website to include the 2 new Pierce engines. I also saw under retired apparatus they had there 2003 American Lafrance. Any ideas why that got retired and not the 1992 Pierce?

Word around was the fact that they had nothing but problems with the ALF since they received it. The foam system never worked and various other problems so they elected to replace it and keep the more reliable Pierce

I was just reading on the Enquirer website about Miami Twp (Clermont County). They were talking about there budget and how it is in good shape. They mentioned they are going to be buying at least one engine if not two. Wasn't sure if anybody knew any more details?

West Chester Twp (Butler County) has just taken delivery of a 2011 Sutphen Quint. This truck will be numbered for Station 73. This replaces a single axle Pierce rear mount. At FDIC I see Point Pleasant, KY had two deliveries on the floor. The first was an E-One engine and the other item was a Chevrolet chassis with a rather large ventilation fan on the back. This truck was on display at Summit's booth. The E-One is a Typhoon cab with a Hale QMax 2,000 gpm pump, Class A 30 gallon foam cell, 500 gallon water tank.

Any info out there about the sitaution at Sycamore Twp. Fire & EMS?
Also drove by St. Bernard's station and saw a new E-One rescue pumper sitting on the apron. Doesn't look to be in service as there were no ladders or hose on it, but it is fully lettered for Engine 91.

Matt I saw the new St Bernard engine on the E-One website. It was listed as a 2011 delivery. I saw they also got a newer ambulance, not sure when they got that.
Woodlawn also got a new ambulance. Its a larger bus, I think from Horton
I also heard a rumor that Reading is getting a Quint, can anybody confirm or deny that rumor?

I drove past Milford's as they just finished washing their rescue pumper. Very nice. It has the chrome Alcoa rims similar to the ladder.
I drove past Terrace Park's house also. It was hard to tell but it looks like their replacement rescue-engine has arrived (ex-Milford E-71).
