What: THE ROTARY CLUB WILL HONOR FOUR CINCINNATI FIREFIGHTERS
Where: Hilton Netherland Plaza's Hall of Mirrors 35 West Street

This is District Fire Chief Fredrick A. Prather reporting the Rotary Club will honor four Cincinnati firefighters today. The firefighters will receive awards at 1:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the Hilton Netherland Plaza's Hall of Mirrors located at 35 W 5th Street.
Rotary Club awards will be given to Assistant Chief Michael Kroeger, District Chief Roy Winston, District Chief Ronald Texter and Firefighter Josette Davenport.
The Community Service Award will be presented to Assistant Fire Chief Michael Kroeger for his work with the Southwest Ohio Critical Incident Stress Team.
The Administrative Award will be presented to District Chief Ronald Texter, a 34-year veteran, who has performed his duties in an exemplary manner.
The Heroism Award will be presented to Firefighter Josette Davenport. On October, 16,2006, two people were saved because of the courageous action and good judgment exercised by Firefighter Josette Davenport.
The Self-improvement Award will be presented to District Chief Roy Winston. Chief Winston has put forth great effort to improve his knowledge of technology and modern firefighting methods; which has greatly benefited himself and the Fire Department.
The Rotary Club will honor these individuals for their efforts.
