After Engine 33 was disbanded, their former quarters was used as a department warehouse for storing supplies. Two of the 1913 Ahrens-Fox engines (a model A piston pump & a model D booster and hose car) were also stored there for use as parade vehicles.
About 1953 or so Chief Houston had the 2 Foxes scrapped and the building was emptied out and demolished. The structure may have been standing as late as 1954 or 55, but I believe it was torn down in the mid - 1950's.
