I was told by a retired member of the cfd the for a period of time the cfd ran out of the of the old pottery place in mount adams. does anybody know if this is correct? if so are there any pictures? and did the city use any other places as temporary houses?

The only pottery that I know of in Mt. Adams is Rookwood. During what time frame is the temporary use of this other building supposed to have taken place and by what company?
Fire Company 15 in Mt. Adams was disbanded in 1921 without ever being motorized. Was this temporary station supposed to be for the 15's?

It was the rookwood potery place that was supposed to have housed the company. Not sure which company was there but I will see if I can get any more info.

Engine 21 & Truck 13 used the Beekman Street building that is now a Parks & Recreation (?) facility after their station on Harrison Avenue was torn down. The current house on State Street wasn't opened for about a year after the old quarters closed.

Another story that I heard was that there were horses kept in a building in the vicinty of Harrison & Fairmount Avenues that were used for Engine 21 when they made runs up the hill. I would be interested in learning more about this....
