A few updates: Sycamore's L92 is now in service, I caught a few pictures of it operating at a house fire a couple of days ago, and added a photo to the new deliveries section of cincyfireapparatus.com.
Harrison has placed into service a 2007 Pierce Velocity 105' quint for Q57. I do not have the rest of the details or photos yet but hope to soon. As far as I know, this is the first Velocity chassis in the Tri-State area.
Also, Covington, KY has a pair of pumpers on order with Seagrave and Alexandria, KY has a heavy rescue on order with Summit. All are expected in by Fall.

Heard that Evandale is looking at specs for a new ladder for sometime next year. Anyone know if that is true?

I was driving into work today on Ronald Reagan, and as I approached Blue Ash I caught up with the brand new E89 for Deer Park Silverton. I followed the truck into Command Seagrave and was able to get some photos - you can view the truck on cincyfireapparatus.com under new deliveries.
In other news, Harrison has taken delivery of a 2008 Pierce Contender 2000 GPM pumper/tanker for E57. This is in addition to the Pierce Velocity quint delivered earlier this year for Q57.
Campbell County Fire District 1 has taken delivery of their second Sutphen pumper this year, the new truck is to be assigned to E503. Specs are 1250 GPM / 750 Tank / 40 A Foam / CAFS.
Belleview-McVille in Boone County received a International / Rosenbauer for E1251. This replaces the American LaFrance that was wrecked in a rollover last Summer. Specs are 1250 GPM / 750 Tank / 30 A Foam / CAFS.
I should have pictures of the KY rigs up on nkfireapparatus.homestead.com by this weekend.

We took delivery of E89 yesterday afternoon, and spent the better part of today getting the hose loaded onto it. Obviously, there's still quite a bit to do to make it ready for service, but we're making good progress on it. As a result of the delivery, the 1974 Seagrave (which came from Ft. Mitchell via Command Seagrave), is no longer in service.

A couple of new apparatus to report:
Fairfield Township in Butler County has received a 2008 Sutphen pumper nicknamed "Brutus" after the Ohio State Buckeyes mascot. The truck features several Ohio State graphics along with a tribute to local (and national) fallen firefighters. It has a 1500 GPM pump and 500 gallon tank. Pictures of this rig are up on cincyfireapparatus.com.
Loveland - Symmes has taken delivery of a 2008 Sutphen Shield series for E60. The truck features a large flag graphic on the rear roll-up compartment doors, somewhat similar to the graphic on the 2007 American Lafrance received for Crescent Springs (KY) T510 last year. Specs are 1500 GPM / 500 Tank / 20 A Foam. Still working on getting some photos, I just missed the other day - the engine had just left on a run.

I was able to get some photos of Covington's new trucks at Command Seagrave yesterday, they have been posted in the new deliveries section of the NKY site. They look great! Anyone know the company assignments? I would guess one would be going to E1, but not not sure where the other one will go.
I also took additional photos of Deer Park's new E89 now that the graphics have been added - I have posted an updated image in the new deliveries section of the Cincy site.
