Covington had a 1923 Seagrave, 75 foot, tiller aerial. The hood is of the right vintage for that piece.

Hi,
I went over and looked at the items to be sold but I didn't attend the auction. Does anyone know who purchased Squad 52?

The old Cinci Squad 52 Fox #849 was sold to Tony Gaier and his uncle Jerry Voisinet. They also have 1920 Fox I-K-4 #772 fom Danville, KY (a beautiful Andy Swift restoration), plus 1918 M-4 #848 from Lexington, KY (basically junk but I've seen worse get restored), 1922 J-M-2 #994 from Detroit, and 1915 K-11 #615 ex-Williamson, WV and St. Paul, MN (the only known surving Fox K-11 booster car)--these last two in decent unrestored condition. They also bought the Model J Fox chassis that Karl Kleve had, when they bought Squad 52 from his estate; it's #1219 from Ludlow, KY, basically frame, wheels, axles, steering wheel, and motor.
