With the added emphasis on firefighter safety and rehab, will the fire division establish a Rehab Unit?
If a rig cannot be purchased strictly for Rehab, an older Ambulance could be converted into a Rehab Unit.
A new rig could be designed to serve as a Rehab and Mass Casualty Unit. It seems that alot of the same equipment would go together with these functions.
There are only 2 or 3 departments in this area that I can think of that actually have Mass Casualty Units that are capable of handling 50-100 patients. Since these units are not really close to the city, it may take a while for response.

Alot of citys buy old Metro for this purpose, why doesn't the city think about that. It wouldn't cost more than $20,000 to buy it, paint, remodel the inside and put lites on it. Just a thought. Dano
