CAUSE (IF KNOWN): Undetermined # OF PEOPLE DISPLACED: N/A SMOKE DETECTORS PRESENT: DESCRIBE INCIDENT: Cincinnati Fire Personnel were dispatched for the report of a building on fire. First arriving companies reported smoke coming from the second floor of a 4 story brick multi-dwelling. A fire was discovered in a second floor apartment, in a window frame. The fire was contained to the apartment of origin, but smoke had filled the entire building. Occupants had self evacuated before Fire Department arrival. The Cincinnati Fire Investigation unit was on the scene investigating. No injuries to civilians or fire personnel.

Anderson Twp also responded via Mutual Aid with (1) Engine and (1) Truck INJURIES TO CIVILIANS OR FIREFIGHTERS: One female ESTIMATED DAMAGE: $40,000 CAUSE (IF KNOWN): Under Investigation # OF PEOPLE DISPLACED: 3 SMOKE DETECTORS PRESENT: No DESCRIBE INCIDENT: Neighbors called 911 reporting an apartment on fire. Companies found a large, occupied three-story apartment complex with heavy fire showing from the top floor at the rear of the building. A second alarm was transmitted due to the large life-hazard. Companies initiated an interior attack and quickly knocked down the bulk of the fire and rescued one female tenant from inside the fire apartment. The patient was transported to UC Hospital with burns and smoke inhalation injuries. The fire was under control within 15 minutes. Red Cross was called for the displacement of three tenants due to water damage. The fire is currently being investigated by the Fire Investigative Unit. ESTIMATED DAMAGE: $30,000. CAUSE (IF KNOWN): Unknown, under investigation # OF PEOPLE DISPLACED: None SMOKE DETECTORS PRESENT: None BRIEFLY DESCRIBE INCIDENT: Companies were dispatched for the report of a house on fire next door to 3408 Ninann Court. Engine 35, the first company on scene, reported heavy fire on the second floor of a wood frame two family dwelling. The building was vacant and due to the large amount of fire a defensive fire attack was initiated. The bulk of the fire was extinguished in about 20 minutes to where companies were able to safely enter the building and extinguish the remaining hot spots and perform overhaul. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit.

On arrival, fire companies found and quickly extinguished a working fire in an apartment on the second floor. Fire damage was contained to the apartment of origin. A fire victim was found as a result of search efforts. Cincinnati Fire investigators and Cincinnati Police are currently on scene investigating. No other injuries were reported.

Upon arrival fire crews confirmed a working fire on the second floor and attic of a two story, with attic, single family unoccupied dwelling. It took crews approximately an hour to bring the fire under control and another hour and a half to extinguished hot spots. There was also damage caused to an adjacent occupied multi-dwelling. The fire caused significant fire damage on the second floor and attic area. There were no reported injuries and the fire is listed as undetermined and under investigation.

There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. Damage is estimated at $7500 and the cause of the fire is under investigation by FIU.

Upon arrival, Engine 51 found mobile home #11 fully involved with two additional mobile homes exposed to the fire. Firefighters used hoselines to protect the exposures and fight a defensive fire on the fully involved property. A second alarm was requested due to multiple exposures, but companies were held in staging and put back in service. Mobile home #11 was a total loss and one exposure building suffered fire damage to the roof. The fire building was reported unoccupied and the exposure home was vacant. The cause of the fire is undetermined and under investigation. Firefighters remained on scene for more than 2 hours.
