The only route there is through the Township, though. Egon, just for your info there is a back way into the Reserve of Turpin from the city. Kenlee which runs off of Coffey now goes into the subdivision, but it is easier for Engine 7 to direct the ambulances or Medic Units to come down Clough through the Township.

Another history question! There is a small section of Beechmont Avenue at the bottom of the Mt. Washington hill that is in Anderson Township. Before the Skytop Plaza was built there was the infamous El Rancho Rankin Motel located in the area covered by Anderson Township Fire Department. Was Engine 7 and the 18's House on the first alarm for the El Rancho Rankin?

If I'm not mistaken (and there's just as good of a chance that I am) the 7's were/are first due to that area of the township if we call for mutual aid. But then again, if we call due to a fire incident we get a full first alarm assignment. So the 7s and 18s are both there anyway.

I ran into an old friend yesterday who is a supervisor for the Hamilton Co. Comm Ctr. He said that CFD isn't responding to Monsanto/Bayer in Addyston anymore. Miami Twp. is handling it.

An old topic, but I've now heard CFD dispatched into Anderson Twp. for automatic aid on a structure fire. Been a long time coming.
