Hello. I would love to hear from some of the retired (or non-retired) firemen about more of the major, multi alarm fires from the 1950s and 1960s. Seems that some of you who commented here about the department during rioting times etc. would remember some of the fires that are not yet shown in this site. Please reply if you have ANY fires in mind from back then. Does ANYONE remember the 3 alarm at Queen City Wreath on W. McMicken Avenue? The 5 alarm at Emmert Grain Company? Further stories or facts about the Baldwin fire? Fires in the "bottoms" besides Castellini? ANY thoughts/memories/info would be interesting and appreciated. And I would really enjoy what company you were with at the time. Thanks much.

Bob : The crew of Truck 3 placed their new frontline App Number 51650 in service today September 2nd at 14:37 hours. Old frontline 21650 was said to be available as a spare at engine 35s quarters
