Drove by the shops this morning on my way to a meeting - can confirm the third Seagrave ladder is going to L23. Unit lettering and ladder board have been finished.

No They have not. The lastest I have heard that they came with polycarbonate base plates and someone in administration wants steel base plates so they have been put on order.

Truck 32 went on the track with the Seagrave today. Trucks 23 and 29 may do the same tomorrow....

How do the drivers like the tandem axles and the pre-piped waterway? Is it making any of their usual operations difficult.
