Just for fun! Anyone that knows me is aware of where I cast my vote! The t-shirt I'm wearing says it all.... Seagrave

Your wearing a t-shirt that says "seagrave"? Man, get a life.

Even though I am a major Pierce fan and historian, I agree with Steve. Cincinnati is known for its Seagraves. It is a shame that a large city sneaks commercial chassis in amongst the customs just to save a dollar. Buy more Seagraves. Bring back a modern version of the war wagons of the late 60's.

Since the Cincinnati built Ahrens-Fox is out of the picture, or is it? CFD should return to some standardization and quality, quit penny pinching and buy SEAGRAVE apparatus.

Hey I'm getting one of those shirts.
by the way, I think I see all of the big names on the poll......except E-One.

The absence of E-One was purely unintentional. I started writing manfucaturers names down and when I had 8 that I though might be interested I posted the poll.
It hit me later that I hadn't mentioned the CFD's current apparatus supplier. I guess you have to have a write in vote if your allegiance is to Ocala!

All - American Fire Equipment hasn't updated their web site in quite a while so there is no information there! I'm surprised that CFD is switching to a manufacturer that is not a single source as far as chassis/body. Heard anything as far as what make (Spartan would be my guess) the chassis will be and which style (Furion - Metro Star - Gladiator) will these be on? Steve

Rosenbauer will be building the pumpers. The apparatus supervisor will be at the plant in the next few weeks to do finals on the new heavy rescue, and will be examining the prelim work on the pumpers.
