Can anyone confirm who purchased the CFD retired fire boat "Dave Sheehy (1981 MonArk)? I saw a fire boat on the Ohio River in the Aurora, IN area and it looked like it may be the Dave Sheehy. It was labled "RESCUE" and "Dearborn County Water Rescue". Does anyone know for sure if this is CFD's old boat?

I don't know about the "Dave Sheehy", but I saw the "Giles DeCourcy" several years ago at a place which sells outdoor play sets on Kemper Road in Sharonville. It was in very bad shape. Several of the monitors were missing, the motor appeared to be gone, and the hull was decaying. It's been gone from there over a year.
What is the status of the "Carl Lindner"? Has CFD kept it as a reserve?

I'm not sure if it is still sitting down at the Municipal Garage. A short while back, a supervisor in Fleet Services informed me that the "Carl Lindner" boat was really messed up. He said that the boat was made with the wrong jets & it is super slow on the water. At that time, he said that they had no intentions on using it.

The "Carl Lindner" Fire Boat is still located at the Municipal Garage out of service.
