Posey Twp. Fire Dept., Switzerland Co., Indiana
I know that they just got a new pumper; however, I do not know the specs yet. It sounds like it is a nice rig. I think that it is a commercial chassis with an E-One body. My brother-in-law is the Chief & I should see him soon. When I get further info, I'll keep you posted.

Pierce Twp - Clermont Co.
Their new engine arrived last week and should be in service sometime in early-mid November.
It's a Precision. 1500 GPM, 800 gallon tank. Lots of compartment space. Red with aluminum rollup doors for all compartments. It has Precision's "command view" pump panel. Essentially, it's a top mounted pump panel turned sideways with several steps going up to the engineer's platform. It will run out of their Locust Corner station.

I saw Montgomery's new Quint tonight parked out in front of the station. Looks like an ALF Eagle with a medium duty ladder. The ladder is a 100' with a prepiped water way. The pump is 1250 gpm with a booster tank around 300 gals (approximately). The truck can carry 5" hose located on the officers side. To help with hose pickup the turntable has been modified to allowing the hosebed cover to pivot giving access to the bed. The truck should be in service in the next couple of weeks.

Evendale's new truck is 2002 Sutphen rescue/engine.
Per the manufacturer it is the largest rescue/engine they have produced.
The engine has: -a 6000Watt light tower -A 2000 GPM remote control roof top monitor -a hydraulic generator -500 Gallon tank -100 class B foam tank (within the water tank) -Some kinda command center in the cab (10 man cab-6 seats) -rumor has it that it was very close to needing tandem duals. -6 cylinder cat -2000 GPM pump
Cost = $536,000 trade in (1981 Kenworth Sutphen= $25,000) DR Lee Vocational school then bought the Kentworth from Sutphen for $27,000

The City of Hamilton recently took delivery of three Sutphen engines (E-4, 5, 6). An additional quint, replacing E-7, is expected in the next couple of weeks. These units have the distinction of being the first in the "back to red" movement in the city, which has been running lime and white/lime for the last 25 years. The actual scheme is black/red.

Hebron Fire District has taken delivery of a new ALF Eagle pumper with a sharp looking black over red paint job. A picture of the truck is posted at Hebron's website. The engine was parked at Dent Spring today (May 25th) in Sharonville along with Cincy's new E-One for E23.
Does anyone know what type of work Dent does for apparatus?
