Looks like Milford's new Seagrave pumper has arrived. I saw it parked in the bay today, but it still needs lettering added to it.

[shadow=red,left,300]Madison-Fairfax & Mariemont[/shadow] The Madison-Fairfax rig is a demonstrator (Flame model) that should be delivered some time this month. The Mariemont rig should be in next summer. Mariemont's engine is built to the basic FDNY spec with a couple of changes such as high side compartments and a Roto-Ray warning light (Yeah)!

Miami Township (Clermont County) has received their new Luverne Aerial Tower. According to Luverne, the rig features a 104 foot platform aerial, a side control pump panel, Waterous CSU 2000 gpm pump, 300 gal poly T tank, extruded aluminum body, Waterous 2002 foam system, Dover roll-up door, and a Westbecker 15 W generator. This is the first aerial rig for Miami Township, and it has been designated Tower 1. Earlier this year, Miami Township also took delivery of a Luverne Rescue Pumper, which they designated Engine 8. They also operate three Pierce engines.

Did Miami Twp purchase Milford's Heavy Rescue?
I did see Miami Twp's former Chevrolet C50 (1978) rescue truck for sale at a car lot just to the West of Castrucci Ford. Asking price $3495

To add to Gregg's entry... Colerain Twp. has also received three E-One Typhoon models. Two have been assigned to Station-102 and 103, respectively. The third is slated for assignment at new Station-109.
By the way - has anyone heard if ground has been broken on this new station?

I was at a couple of Colerain stations in September and was told at both places that ground breaking on the new station was roughly 18 months away. The opening probably won't occur until 2004-2005.
Also, Green Township has their new Sutphen tower. Southern Campbell FD has a new engine as of a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't any idea as to what the rig is.
Later....

Green Twp's new Sutphen quint is the first 110' aerial Sutphen has delivered. I've only had brief conversations with folks from Green, but they seem pleased with it.
Miami Township (Clermont) is still having many follow-up issues with their aerial and it is months away from being in service.

I saw Montgomery has allocated $600,000 for a new ladder truck. Does anyone know if this has been purchased or in service?

Montgomery does not have a new truck in-service, but I have heard they were going solicit bids for a ladder or more likely a quint to replace the Seagrave Snorkel.
