Engines 11, 26, and 41 were all disbanded shortly after motorization of the department was completed. The 11's and 26's were assigned full size Ahrens-Fox piston pumpers while the 41's had one of the Republic/Ahrens-Fox booster pumpers.
Are there photos of any of these companies out there while they were operating motorized rigs? I certainly would like to see them!

Engine 11
The 11's had a new house built on the south side of Eastern Avenue just east of Vance street. They were only in the building for a few years before they were disbanded.
Does anyone out there have any memory of this station after the department stopped using the structure? Many of the buildings on Eastern Avenue weren't torn (or burned) down until the 60's and 70's.

Add Engine-53 to the list... Anyone know of any photos of Engine-53 or their quarters on Losantiville?

The drawings that are on the site show that the 11's house was similar in appearance to Engine 38. Still hoping to find a photo of this station, or photos of the other houses mentioned in this thread!

Spending a little bit of time looking through the Hamilton County Auditor's web site. The home currently at 1215 Iliff Avenue (location of Fire Co. 41) was constructed in 1952. A retired member of the CFD that I spoke with indicated that information he was given was that the firehouse was torn down shortly before this.
Still searching for a photo!
